Then end all solution to spam
Dave Shea recently wrote that he thinks email is becoming a dead medium largely because of an overload of spam. A few days ago I would of agreed. About two weeks ago it took an entire day to clean more than 20,000 spams out of my inbox and retrain Apple Mail’s spam filter. Apple mail has now been catching about 95% of some 100-120 spams per day. Not too bad, but still annoying and hard enough that I only manage to keep one of 3 inboxes clean.
The solution is hosted Gmail. Easy, free, and you can keep your current domain email. If you want to use pop email, fine, only now you have a 2GB web backup. And best of all? Today I have zero spam, no junk filter training necessary.
